I enjoy spending time with my husband, Michael, and my children, Erin and Joshua. Michael and I own a Cirrus  SR22 aircraft and have been known to fly the entire family to business conferences or to meet with out-of-state clients. Every February, when we just need a break from Chicago winters, we have flown down to Ft. Myers, Florida, to visit family.

When we are at home, we spend a lot of time out of doors. I love to garden and my kids sometimes help. We attend most of the events of the Chicago Area Orienteering Club and I work out and run just for fun. We also like to hike, canoe, and camp. My daughter and I enjoy bird watching.

I find I need a lot of intellectual stimulation. I enjoy Lyric Opera performances, participate in a book club, and have "game days" with friends. During my commute, I enjoy The Teaching Company history classes. I have quite a collection and often lend out my favorite courses.

I have recently joined the Advisory Board of one of my favorite organizations, Pathways to Successful Living. The Pathways programs are very experiential, and are designed to help people pursue more fulfilling lives.  Having taken all the seminars ourselves, my husband and I regularly volunteer in various capacities and continue to be challenged and to grow.
